ATM machines

Does anyone know of ATM cash machines that are located INSIDE banks rather than outside on the street?

A general question if this can be expected?

Thanks

We went to Banco Nacional in Alejuela 5 mins away from the airport (Corner of Taco Bell and McDonald). Unfortunately, my ATM card didn't work in any machines.

Yes, I do. But - what country?

Probably Costa Rica.

The ATMs are typically located in a small room off the street that can only be accessed by swiping your card on the door.

woodie The travel posts here go to the Latin America thread. Without specifying a country within Latin America some posters were at a loss about how to answer your question. Something to remember if you need additional information. Enjoy Latin America, wherever you may be headed :)
