Try Hotel Principe: Pablo@[email protected] or their website: principehotel.8k.com/
Impressive website, 2 very good reviews from people that stayed there. It's in Barrio Norte/Recoleta, near Santa Fe Ave. Air con, breakfast, taxes, room for about $22/day single. |
Two other choices
http://www.arthotel.com.ar/. Located in Barrio Norte within walking distance of REcoleta. http://www.artsuites.com.ar/ Just down the street from the Arthotel....but not owned by the same people. Artsuites is modern and arthotel is in an older remodeled building. A third choice is Malabia bed and breakfast in Palermo Viejo. Post if a B and B interests you and I will see if I can find the website for you. |
I can personally vouch for the Principe as an excellent small, family-run hotel. If you are on a budget and are fine with a simple place, the people there are very nice and keep the place spotless and in great condition. Stayed there for nine nights in April and was extremely happy with the choice and location of the hotel. If your budget is somewhat higher then you might appreciate the more upscale recommendations drdawggy has.

This is only one more opinion:
i know where the principe hotel is.i have never been there but if i had to choose i would take the prince hotel which has more or less the same price. i like the area much more. rooms are not very big, should say small but the area is fantastic. half a block from a very green park and l from ave santa fe. populated and safe neighbourhood. 7 blocks from Recoleta. |
