Argentina or chile

What do you recommend for overall trip for two weeks. Looking to hit torres del paine, lake district and one city (ba or santiago) and maybe sail for a few days. Which country should I pinpoint and why?

That really is not enough time.

Lin,
If I were you I would fly to Buenos Aires, spend there fours days, then would sail to Punta del Este or Colonia in Uruguay, stay there a couple of days.
From BA I would fly to Bariloche in Argentina's district lake, and from that area I would cross the border to the Chilean district lake. This itinerary is perfectly doable in two weeks.
Please e-mail me for further info.
www.apartmentsbuenosaires.com

Another option: fly to Calafate instead of Bariloche, you will miss the wonderful area around Villa La Angostura, but it will be a more relaxed trip.

We just got back from a 2 week trip where we spent 4 days in Santiago and the wine country, 3 days in the lake district and 6 days in torres del paine. I thought that was a great trip.
