Argentina itinierary

We are planning to visit Argentina next March for 3 weeks or so. I was thinking 5 days in BA, 3 dsays in Iguazu falls, edays in Punta del Este and Colonia and then 10 days between villa La Angostura, San Martin and El Calagate. Which order would you do the trip in March and what do you think of amount of time in each place?

uhmm,... I will not tell what to do, but what I would do...
Buenos Aires, Iguazu - Salta - Buenos Aires - Calafate. Buenos Aires. Unfortunatelly between Iguazu and Salta there are no direct flights,...

tidy,
Your plan sounds great, but take into account that it implies too much travel back and forth, since the destinations are not connected and you will always have to come back to Buenos Aires.
I would do it this way, weather wise:
BA - 5 days
Punta del Este - 4 days
Villa la Angostura and surroundings - 7 days
Iguazu Falls - 3 days
Buenos Aires - 2 days

What are your thoughts about traveling to Argentina in March? Also, is Puna del este worthwhile?

Hi, we're in the middle of planning a 14 day trip to AR in mid-March, it's a wonderful time to travel (like Sept. here), kids are back in school, but the weather's still good.

This trip we're spending 1 night BA, then 6 nights between El Calafate and Chaltan, then 4 nights in Villa Angostura and the last 2 nights in BA.

Regarding Punta del Este, we've never been, but if you like beaches, it's supposed to be very nice. We're not beach people, so it's never been on our agenda. We did go to the Four Seasons in Uruguay and visited Colonia, we enjoyed that very much.
