Jschuh...my daughter is currently in Arenal and it sounds like her itinerary is proceeding as planned. Today she did Sky Trek and hopes to hike to Fortuna Waterfall tomorrow.

She described watching a small lava flow last night from the deck at Arenal Nayara. Likewise the eruptions taking place might make your own stay more interesting. Of course, only you can decide about your own comfort level but it sounds like business as usual in arenal.

Percy, I had CT surgery two months ago and wish I would've done it sooner. I am getting the other hand done next month after I return from CR.

I will be watching Arenal in exactly ONE week!

Hi There:

Yes I am sure that the Carpal Tunnel surgery relived the pressure on the Median Nerve, and you are doing fine.

Boy, how did you get a problem with both wrist... at least the surgery is not bad and you can return to "life" sooner that that darn Dupuytren's surgery !!

I am hemming and Hawing about see my Plastic Surgeon ,who is a good friend of mine.... I keep procrastinating because the condition is "okay" for a day or 2 and then not okay .

I do the Carpal Tunnel exercies , but you know ...there are not any "good " exercises for Carpal Tunnel.

I do wear the Carpal Tunnle splint at night about 3-4 times a week.

It is the Dupuytren's Contraction surgery that is the worse beast !!

Good for you, watch Arenal for me too and sip an Imperial also.

Percy, Shillmac once told me that you and I live in the same area. Dr. M. did CT surgery on first my right, then my left wrist, 10 years between. Such a relief as I was ready to gnaw my arms off myself. Nerve pain is intense. If he is your surgeon, you are in good hands.

Back to the thread...sunny skies and little rain in Arenal at the moment, according to DD.

Hi rivet,

The only Plastic Surgeon who's name starts with an M. works out of the Meadowlark Medical Clinic.

My Plastic Surgeon works out of the same Clinic but it is not Dr. M.

You can write to me at [email protected]

Glad your daughter is enjoying Arenal and Costa Rica. !
