Archaeologist/Naturalist Roxy Ortiz - WEBSITE

Hi, all -
In the past when I've recommended Roxy Ortiz to folks visiting the Petén, I've just had an email address to share. Now she has a website - check it out!
http://www.tikalroxy.blogspot.com
At the moment she offers her guiding services in Tikal, El Mirador, Yaxhá, Nakum, and Uaxactún in Guatemala as well as Copán in Honduras and Yaxchilán in Mexico. There's a cool bio and photos in addition to contact information and links. Happy trails!

Thanks, Stacey for this info!

Thanks, Stacy. I took a Roxy trip to Uaxactun and it was a highlight of my 2 months in Guatemala. LOVED Roxy. She has a wealth of knowledge that she can pass along to someone (me) who has no idea at all about Mayan culture, and you can walk away feeling you "get it".

So great to hear! Can I put that quote on her website?

ginger50 Sep 28th, 2011 02:20 AM

Sure. You can quote me next to Catia!

Thanks, Lynne! I added a line from your travelogue to it. I've enjoyed her company online since I was there and look forward to a return trip.
