Appropriate attire, help!

I am going to Brazil in the spring. Please tell me what the latest fashion trends are for women in Brazil, ie: colors vs black, dress lengths, pantsuits vs dresses/skirts, etc. Do women dress up for dinner out?<BR>Thanks.

Sorry Fashion, I've never been to those places, but I've found that the fashion in Rio was the same as in the US, except the women were better dressed. I saw very few women wearing jeans and sneakers; only the tourists had on bathing suits; lots of little dresses, capris, pants with chic tops. Since you are going to cities, I would assume that the dress is chic, similar to the way women dress in NYC or Washington DC. Are you going for business or pleasure?
