Any Suggestions ???
 

We are working on our June trip - Please let me know your thoughts.
Day 1 - Arrive around noon - Drive to Arenal
Day 2 - ARenal
Day 3 Arenal
Day 4- Montezuma or Monteverde???
Day 5 - Montezuma or Monteverde???
Day 6 - MA
Day 7 - MA
Day 8 - MA
Day 9 - Drive to somewhere around San Jose
Day 10 - Raft Pacuare
Day 11 - Return home

You're going to eat a minimum of a half day getting to either montezuma or Monteverde. Maybe you could hit the Rincon area, it's not as far out of the way or if you want a beach higher up in NW Guanacaste. Or you could go to a place like Villa Blanca which is cloudforest but wouldn't be so far out of the way.

Okay - I have reworked this a bit.
Day 1 - Peace Lodge
2 - Villa Blanca
Do I reverse these? Not sure which one I should go to first or if I should just go to one. I would really like to visit the cloud forest, though.
Day 3 - Arenal
Day 4 - Arenal
Day 5-8 - MA
Day 8- Return to San Jose
Day 9 - Pacuare Rafting
Day 10 - Departure

I actually liked your first itinerary better, although I'd add a day to Monteverde since it is such an effort to get there, and subtract a day from San Jose. You can raft in the Arenal area. If you are worried about getting to the airport on time from Manuel Antonio, you can always drop your car off at the beach and take Sansa airlines back to San Jose, cheap and quick!

You could always do Peace Lodge for first 2 nights so you have a full day there to explore the grounds. Or if you do the one night there and one night at Villa Blanca then Arenal, not positive but I think it may be easier (driving) to do Peace Lodge, Arenal, then Villa Blanca, then MA.
