Any recommened software for photos
Can anyone suggest what software or info as to which venture i should use to download our pics for viewing. I m somewhat ignorant as to how to go about it and where to start. I took close to 2000 pics which I need to go thru and sort out the good ones and crop and improve them.
Thanks, Bill |
crlover,
I think Photoshop Elements is a good start – it sometimes comes bundled with the digital camera software, so you don’t need to purchase it separately. If not, it’s about $80 on Amazon, not sure what your budget is. Another alternative – you can use Picasa (where you can also post your pictures for free) for cropping, sharpening, saturation etc – although I never used it for that so I cannot comment on how intuitive it is. I’m sure others will have some other ideas – good luck, looking forward for at least some of those 2000 CR pictures :) |
I dont have a computer right now (the one I had bit the dust) and debating whether to get another one but also trying to decide if i can do it at the library with free software. Does anyone have any experience using any photo software that you would recommend.
Thanks |
Consider buying a Mac and using the iPhoto program they come with for starters.
