Any info on turtle Nesting in Playa Hermosa?
 

So the Fodors guide book says you can see Turtles laying eggs in the Playa Hermosa area July-Dec, does anyone have any info on this? This is the Playa Hermosa southeast of Jaco.

No, they are talking about the Playa Hermosa in Puntarenas for sure.

Thanks for the link, but this just highlights the little info I have found. It mentions seeing turtles, but I am looking for specific info like when, where, how to get there, rules, etc.

I agree; it certainly wouldn't be Playa Hermosa in Guanacaste.
Your information sounds a little questionable. Can you check with another source online? Neither Playa Hermosa is typically mentioned when it comes to turtles. Playa Grande, yes; Ostional, yes.

See if you can find the "Backyard" on line in Playa Hermosa and send them an email. You might even want to eat there, the food is great and the beer is ice cold.

The other day when I was looking into this I ran across some info about people doing volunteer work watching the beach and moving egss to a more secure location. It said they were in Playa Hermosa.
