Alvear Palace room size seems a mystery!

All reviews talk about how beautiful the decor is and the wonderful service. I am just curious to know if the rooms (not suites) are really small? Comfortable? The hotel does not provide those details.
Thanks
June

The Alvear is a beautifully rebuilt old hotel and the rooms may not have a standard size. That could be the reason why the hotel does not mention the size of its rooms in its website.
Why don't you e-mail them and ask them?
This is their General Manager's e-mail, according to their website: [email protected]

Palace & premier palace rooms are 37 square meters, according to an email I received from the hotel.

Actually prices can be a mystery too because ALL hotels have more than one price for the same room.
I agree with avrooster the Alvear Place Hotel is a beautifully rebuilt old hotel with lots of class.
Simply ask the hotel by email, surely they will respond , as for rates check different roads.
