Check out Gran Porto Real. It is right at the north end of PDC and 4 star all inclusive. We were there with our family over Christmas and really enjoyed it. If you go, go for the junior suites, not the standard rooms. A big plus for this hotel is that it is within a couple of minutes walk of the main street (calle 5).

I would suggest the Iberostar Tucan.I've been there twice and can't wait to go back. They have a huge pool your kids would really like. The food is really good, too. I took my 13 year old niece there last year and she loved it.The grounds are really tropical. There are howler monkeys in the trees, flamingos, ducks, swans and more animals at the resort.
Take a look at iberostar.com .

We also loved the Iberostar Tucan. Great beach and atmosphere; and you can make a number of interesting excursions from there.

Very few all inclusive resorts in Mexico will let you put 5 people in
one room. One of the few that will is
the Gala Resort. The Hacienda section rooms have a sitting area
that gives more space. They also
are reported to have one of the best
kids clubs in the Mayan Riviera.

Check the Fiestaval - www.jmtravel.com I believe they have suites for 6.

I stayed at the Gala last year and loved it - Hacienda suites had a small plunge pool outside each hacienda. We had a king and pull out couch - was perfect for the 4 of us. They had a good kids club and lots of video games. The beach was beautiful and had lots of shade too.

I'm going back in April - not sure if we'll be at the Gala or the Fiestaval.

enjoy! p.s. gran porto - beautiful resort but limited beach. Personal opinion but I liked the gala better.
