All inclusive with great food?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Mexico in Feb 08. We'd like an all inclusive that has great food--from what I can find on the web, that is not easy to find. Any suggestions? We were thinking Cancun, but are open to other places.

Secrets Capri, south of Cancun Airport and just north of Playa DelCarmen.

The Iberostar Paraiso Grand. It's a new adults only all inclusive with gourmet food, butler and concierge service and great amenities. For lots of into on this resort, go to this site and scroll down to the section on the Grand:

It's been a few years since we were there, but we enjoyed the food at Secrets Excellence. They had several dining options, and did not require advance reservations which was so nice! I don't think any of their dinners were buffet with the exception of maybe a theme night on the beach or a Mexican buffet night, but on those nights thier other a la carte restaurants were open as well. My husband is a chef and can be a bit of a "food snob" at times, and he thought pretty highly of their food - especially for an AI resort!

But again, we were there about 3 years ago, so things may have changed.

Try the Royal Hideaway in Playa del Carmen. They recently had some renovations due to the hurricane damage from 2005. There are 5 restaurants that are excellent - the resort is beautiful but I was disapointed with the beach which had so much erosion. However, by now they should have reclaimed most of it. You might want to check to see if anyone has been there recently to see what the condition of the beach is. I was there in January of this year and they were working on it.

The condition of the beach at the Royal Hideaway is not very good. BIG sandbags along the shoreline and not a lot of beach.
