All Inclusive Puerta Vallerta
Best All Inclusvie Puerta Vallerta?
|
Do you have a preference for location. I ask that as a first question because Puerto Vallarta covers a VERY large area around the Bay of Banderas. Are you looking for a resort in town or outside of it?
"Nuevo Vallarta" is the newly developed resort district to the north of the city (approx 30-45 mins) or in The Marina or Hotel Zone (bewteen the airport and downtown), or right in Old Town, El Centro, Zona Romantica or lastly to the south of PV (where you'll find resorts such as Dreams, Mismaloya, Intercontinental, etc.). |
I think Suze will agree with me on this one. Why on earth would you want to stay at an all-inclusive in Puerto Vallarta?! PV is not the Riviera Maya. There is a vibrant downtown with a multitude of wonderful restaurants.

I'll suggest, if you want to stay in town (which is my personal choice) Villa Premiere is the best place with an AI option.
|
I have to agree that PV is not the best place to go AI. We've been on many AI vacations and also wanted AI when we went to PV. We searched and searched and couldn't find what we were looking for in the area we wanted. We wanted to be close to the Macelon and other nightlife/shopping. PV is very spread out.
We ended up choosing the Playa Los Arcos. It's a small, quaint hotel directly on the beach. We did do the AI option they had just because it was cheap. $150 total for the 2 of us for 4 nights. That covered breakfast and the many drinks we had. Then we ate out at several places. I agree if you want a total AI then Villa Premiere would be the better option. It is adult only though. Another option would be the Buenaventura. |
I mentioned Villa Premiere because of the requirement for "Best" in PV.
I think Playa Los Arcos and Buenaventura are other solid recommendations for AIs walking distance to downtown, but they are not 5-star places by any stretch. Other choices outside downtown you might add the GCP or Velas Vallarta? |
I'm not an AIer. Tome the only times it makes sense is in Isolated locations. Now I do not drink so the reduces the attraction as I know many like that part of AI. PV is indeed a wonderful place to explore restaurant choices. I have been going for 23 years & have barely scratched the surface on my list of "to try" cafés.
|
I also wouldn't recommend an AI in Puerto Vallarta. There are so many good and affordable restaurants there. However, if you are intending on staying at Nuevo Vallarta, an AI makes some more sense, since that is a good ways from PV.

It's true, I'd never go All-Inclusive myself in Puerto Vallarta because there are too many fabulous restaurants.
But over the years I have mellowed, and try to answer the question as asked on the forum ;-) |

You are right-I should behave. |
Ah, I don't really care... I was just hopping our OP might come back to this thread.
