All Inclusive for single 31 yr old
Can anyone recommend a nice, fun place for a single 31 yr old female? I'm not going with the sole purpose of meeting someone, but I don't want to be around all families or couples.
Thanks in advance!

How bout a club Med!

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately I don't think I can afford the price of Hedonism. I'm looking to spend $1000.00 Canadian, including flight. Has anyone heard of a Club Med surprise, where you pay less and don't find out till the last second where you're going?

Liz:

I think you would like Cancun Palace. It is a very nice resort that has a lot of activities going on which you can participate in or not. They have some families, but it is a high energy resort and tends to have a younger crowd - late 20's to 40 ish.

Call me crazy, but can you go do what she's asking for $600 usd...Airfare, all inclusive????

Usually the only way of getting a deal like that from here (Toronto) is last minute, which I'm doing. Sometimes there are really good deals to Cuba, which is a very popular travel destination from here.

I have done two club meds. I enjoyed the sonora bay one much more than Cancun and it is also less expensive. I think it is only open in the summer though???? I doubt if you can do it for $600 from Toronto though and you would need to have them assign you a roommate to keep the cost down.

From Toronto you should have loads of options in that price range. Last week you could have gone to Acapulco for 1wk. I believe the price was air/hotel at the Casa Inn for $350cdn plus tax. That didn't include meals or drinks.

I see for Nov 26th Alba Tours have 2 packages that are under $500 and air only is $349. Acapulco is a nice destination.

I'd suggest Club Med as well, especially if you are going alone. While other all-inclusives (I think someone mentioned one of the Palace resorts in Mexico) are also good deals, what I really liked in Club Med was the friendliness that came from everyone knowing they'd be interacting a lot the whole week, and all the chances to interact and meet people. I've been to Turkoise (Turks and Caicos) twice and Martinique once. I'd recommend Turkoise as the tops. And, no kids at that one. I think the "surprise" deal might mix in all the resorts, so a family Club Med might be where you end up. Best of luck, Peter
