All Inclusive and Hotel help in Puerto Vallarta
Hello
Planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta in mid June for 4 ngihts. I am considering staying 2 nights at the all-inclusive --Royal Decameron --Qualton Club --Canto Del Sol Has anyone stayed at these and has any preferences. I want to stay as close to Downtown (Royal Decameron is in Nuevo Vallarta) as possible but want a place with good food with vegetarian choices hence will be willing to go further. Second question: I am planning to spend 2 nights at a non inclusive hotel in downtown. Any recommendations? I want to stay within $100 a night for this hotel. Thanks! |
Hey there - sounds great to me! I've stayed at Allegro in Nueva Vallarta, which is all-inclusive w/lots of good food 24/7; even my favorite pina coladas (&all alcoholic drinks) are included. Rooms comfy/clean; apx $60/night, as I recall. Love Puerto Vallarta! have a ball! hugs/e

For me, I would never stay A-I in Puerto Vallarta because I think the restaurants are so wonderful (and especially as a vegetarian I wonder how good the a-i food choices will be for you?).
www.vallartaspecials.com is a website that shows a number of the independent local hotels in town. also i would not stay out in Nuevo, since the reason I love PV so much is for the town itself. i like to stay right in town and at a regular hotel, not a resort. see other thread, i gathered up info recently for someone asking aabout vegetarian restaurants in PV. |
I agree w/Suze I wouldn't stay at an all inclusive so many reasonable restaurants and you get to see different locations when you dine out of the hotel.

Oh I forgot to mention go to trip advisor.com and check out the reviews for the hotels you mentiones out of all of them The Qualton is the worst. Rest is up to you.

my other input is especially with only 4 days for vacation, i wouldn't want to waste the time switching hotels & locations (check out is normally 12:00pm, taxi ride, check in is usually not until 3:00pm etc.) really could kill a good part of one day.
