Airport Transport to Playa del Carmen
 

Hi

I will be travelling with my family to PDC. I would like to arrange for a roundtrip service and welcome any suggestions. Also, it would be great if they had child seats so that I would not have to lug them with me. Thanks in advance.

You could reserve round trip van service from locogringo.com.
Or you could easily catch a taxi at the airport ( I don't know about car seats).
Or you could rent a car at the airport. I believe some of them have car seats.
Or, the most economical option, you could catch the ADO bus into downtown Playa from the airport.

Thanks for the information. I am also looking for a specific airport transfer service to PDC that the Fodor family would recommend.

You don't say when you're traveling but we are going down on Feb. 28 and are using the airport trans booked through www.playa.info

I can report back on how the arrangements went we get back if that would help.

I just booked entertain ment plus. Heard a lot of good things about them. I will report back

Entertainment Plus is excellent. We used them a year ago for airport to Tulum transfers and back at end of stay. On time, nice polite drivers, clean vehicles. Highly recommend them. The owner is a Canadian that lives in Cancun and has for many years.

We recently used www.cancuntransfer.com. A private car for the 45 minute trip was $110. They were on time with good drivers and comfortable vehicles.They have other options at cheaper prices as well.

Thomas More Travel (thomasmoretravel.com) provides a variety of transport, we have used them mostly in Cancun but also for travel by van or minivan to Playa and Tulum. They charge $150 for the round trip for up to 5. No car seats, however.

I used Cancun Valet www.cancunvalet.com for transfers roundtrip in December. I also rented a cell phone from them for the duration of our visit to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Excellent service and very reliable. I will definitely use them again.

We have also used Cancun Valet and have been very pleased with their service.
