Airport Transfer from EZE to AEP

Please advise the best way to transfer from EZE to AEP when we arrive in BA? We will be coming from the US and will head to Iguazu Falls the same day/morning. We have about 3 and half hours. Will that be enough?

I did not realize when I booked flights on LAN to Iguazu that it would not be taking off from EZE but instead AEP.

Thanks in advance.

We made advance arrangements for a private car (http://www.ana-luna.com/). Ana was waiting for us outside the customs area (she waited during a two-hour delay caused by missing luggage and getting the claim for that processed) and drove us to AEP. We were pleased enough with her service that day to add a sightseeing tour (just a basic one to get a sense of the city) in addition to the transfers we had booked for later in our visit. Prompt and very personable. She lived in Miami for a while, so her English is good.

I also meant to say, three and a half hours should be fine, providing you experience no delays getting into EZE or have problems collecting your luggage. We felt more comfortable with a 5-hour layover and booked our Ushuaia flight accordingly. That worked to our advantage - our flight was on time but we had missing bags (we were on a non-stop from IAD, so go figure) and it took about two hours for us to get out of the customs area.

We took a taxi that was right outside baggage claim. It was less expensive then taking the organized transportation. It was also quicker.

We also will be transferring from EZE to AEP. The estimated time between flights is 4 hours not counting any delays or work traffic, our Lan flight arrives in EZE at 7:40 am and departs AEP at 11:40 am. We also need to exchange money at an ATM in the airport, where do you suggest? Is the taxi the fastest way to get there or if I have Ana-Luna waiting for us to arrive, wouldn't that work too? How much would the taxi cost? And one last question please, how long do you think going through customs and gathering luggage will take. Thanks for any information, I appreciate it.

Having Ana Luna waiting for us was great - especially since we had one bag missing (we were on a non-stop flight from IAD) to complicate things on arrival. By the time we got through customs, sorted through the claim for the missing bag, and exchanged dolars at the bank (just before you exit the secure arrivals area), we had eaten into at least 2 hours of our 5-hour layover. The drive to AEP took approximately another hour.

Using an ATM or exchanging dollar bills for pesos at the Banco de la Nación (on your right, as you exit customs) is fine.

However, do NOT enchange dollars at a place called "Global Enchange", conveniently located in all our airports, unless you wish to graciously "donate" to them about 10% of your money.

You can check the prevailing dollar/peso rate here:

Have a great time in our country.

I would simply take a remise from Tienda Leon, look in their web site, possibly you can reserve one. Why paying extra for a car waiting for you ??? I never had a problem finding a remise from them.... I guess you will get in Aeroparque in one hour...aprox. unless something happens...
As avrooster says be sure to change money in Banco Nacion not in the other booth. Of course the bad one is in front of Banco de la Nacion...
But if you take the Tienda Leon remise car you can pay with a credit card and then with more time after you have checked in for your local flight you can change in Banco de la Nacion in Aeroparrque...sounds more logical
