airplane tickets.........

Well I may not even be going to Cancun now..... I cannot purchase the hotel/airfare package from expedia, the price is over my daily limit on my check card. I went to the bank and the manager raised the limit but its still not working. Does anyone know where I can get 2 roundtrip plane tickets from Philadelphia to Cancun for under $1,000, or where I can pay by sending a check if its over $1,000? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Denise

Go to your local travel agent.

Yes I was thinking about it, but I am soa fraid its going to be so much more than what I would pay at expedia....it came to $1700 for 2 roundtrip plane tickets and 7 nights at the presidente hotel.

have you tried funjet?

Yes I just did, and their packages are pretty reasonable, but like I said, they onlly accept credit cards.

A travel agent may be able to get you the same fare, expedia is not always the cheapest and my experience with funjet is that they don't fly from every city.

What about Hotwire or Priceline? I've used them exclusively for a couple of years now and my only complaint is the occasional 6 a.m. flight, but for about half price, I can't really complain, now can I?

Hello,

This happend to me using Travelocity. All you have to do is call them and have them charge the tickets one at a time. This should work. By the way have you checked the prices on Travelocity, they usually have better prices...Always check the "Travel anytime" or "find best fares", and maybe they have something in your time period.

Hi,

Out of curiosity I checked Yahoo!'s travel section who uses Travelocity. And found a fare in June for $394 on Delta. They also have many options in the $450 range. Just make sure the button that says "my dates are flexible" and you are bound to find something.

Joanna
