Airfare sale to Belize on AA
Just received an E-mail from American Airlines announcing an airfare sale to Belize. The prices look decent ranging from $310-$410 roundtrip from various major cities in the U.S. (That doesn't include any taxes.) Travel Monday through Thursday in either direction. Book flights by Apr. 21. Travel through July 30. Price doesn't apply to every seat on every flight. Non-refundable. Change and rebooking fees apply. Book only at aa.com.
In other words, all the standard restrictions, but, hey, the prices look good.

Usually $700+ is the norm from Portland, Oregon to anywhere in CA. Lately $416 to Honduras and $513 to Guatemala (incl. taxes) have cropped up, $660+/- to Belize. Makes me want to buy more tickets but I'm already planning to split 5-6 weeks between Guatemala and Belize this summer so can't really justify another trip - darn.

Anything under $700 from the PNW has been a good Belize price for many years, so the current $660 for August is a good deal. It's always seemed strange to me, though, that neighboring countries might be a hundred or 2 less.
