We have not traveled to CR in 10 years. Can anyone give me an idea of what airfare these days should run flying out of Philadelphia. We are planning on traveling in January 2007 and right now fare seems to be about $600+. Is that a good fare or should I wait?

We are from Philly but chose to fly out of Newark, NJ since we were able to get a direct flight and it cost us just a little more then $400 round trip direct. We went the beg. of Feb.

You might want to check America West. Their internet site shows roundtrip from Philadelphia to San Jose for $340 plus taxes for Jan. 2007. We are flying Amer. West in June from Sacramento to San Jose for $318 with taxes. Best prices we could find.

We went to Costa Rica this January. We flew Delta from St. Louis to Costa Rica, changing plans in Atlanta. The cost was $ 450.00. I bought the tickets the first of June.

We flew to SJO last November on US Air, I bought the tickets at the beginning of last Feb. for $375/each (it would've been an extra $20 or so to fly to LIR). We want to go back again soon but the prices I'm seeing are about $670 to SJO and $875 to LIR. I'm hoping they come down soon!
