Air travel in Argentina??

When we were in Argentina 10 years ago, all air travel had to take place out of BA (to Iguazu, Bariloche, etc.), so we were constantly going back and forth. We'll be going back this summer. Is it still the same? We want to go to BA and also some different places in the North (Iguazu, Jujuy, etc.), but want to make the means of travel as efficient as possible. Thank you!

Yes , i'm afraid so - as I'm planning my trip there now , it seems like everything still go through BA !

If you want to go from Jujuy to Iguazu, you need to go to BA first.
But things in the south are better! You can fly from BA to Bariloche, from there to Calafate (Perito Moreno Glacier), from there to Ushuaia and then back to BA.

Air travel in South America. We loved our trip, but would caution you NOT to put anything valuable in your checked luggage. Just carry those things with you.

Rosemary
