Advice Please
 

Hello,
Planning a honeymoon to CR...I need some advice please.
We will be arriving into liberia on a sat. night. Sunday morning, we will be staying at villa casa blanca for 3 nights. How should I get there? I will not have a car yet. I thought the bus would be a good option. Does anyone know the easiest way to catch a bus to playa ocotal?
After that, we will spend one night at la carolina lodge. How should we spend our limited time there?
Then on to tabacon for three nights. Has anyone been to the venado caverns? I will have a car, so can I drive myself and how do I get there? Best canyoning tour???? anyone??? Finally, we will head to bosque del cabo for four nights. Thank you for any input you might have

Matt, Ocotal is not very far from the Liberia airport. You might even consider a taxi--to me, this seems a better option that the bus. Public buses are not a good idea if you have luggage--lots of theft. A taxi will cost about $25 probably, maybe less. More secure.

La Carolina is one of the places we hope to stay oneday, but I can't imagine making the effort to get there for just one night. That will not give you anytime at all to enjoy the surroundings. Are you sure you want to do that?! I guess we're talking about the same La Carolina. . .at Bijagua (or however it is spelled?).

You'll have a fabulous time the last 4 nights at BdC. What a great place to honeymoon! I hope you have a wonderful trip and congratulations! :)

By the way, I just noticed your e-mail address. You are stationed at Vance AFB? There are a few posters on this board from Oklahoma (I'm one). . .just thought I'd acknowledge you and say thanks to one of our men in uniform!

Yep, good ol enid, ok...where are you from? Any suggestions other than carolina...I'm just looking for a cool place for one night to transition from Playa ocotal to Tabacon

I just reserved a canyoning tour in arenal from pure trek. We will be staying three nights at tabacon. the other day we will do the venado caverns...good plan??? In OSa, are the canopy tours as good as in arenal? what else should we do in Osa???
