? about hotel in Manual Antonio

When you come out of the back entrance to the park you are on a side street - there is a hotel back there with a nice pool and I cannot for the life of me remember what it is called - can anyone help? Thanks!

Do you remember which side? There is Hotel Playa Espadilla, but can't remember if you can see the pool as you're walking by or not.

Is it La Posada? I know that one is close to the park.

La Posada is the first hotel on the left when you leave. They have a small but nice pool. I loved swimming in it in the afternoon while the monkeys played above us.

I am pretty sure it was on the right as you are walking out of the park - the rooms were right around the pool. It was low

That's La Posada. We stayed there for two nights in January. There are four stand-alone bungalows by the pool and some rooms in the main house. Mike is such a nice guy.

We didn't see any monkeys on our park walk, but a whole troop of squirrel monkeys showed up in the afternoon!

We really enjoyed it (especially since we didn't have a car).

If I had a brain and could tell left from right my original post would have said La Posada is on the RIGHT as you leave the park.

Please excuse me as I am apparently losing my mind...

Must be time to go back to Costa Rica!

Thank you!!!! It definitely must be La Posada - has anyone stayed just in the rooms - is it noisy?

We stayed in the Monkey Room which was fine but noisy as you are right next door to the common area. Movie night didn't really bother us (the movie is played against the bathroom wall) but the opening of the metal window in the kitchen early each morning and the shutting of the same each night was enough to wake me up. There was a nice couple who stayed in the small room next to it and had the same issue.

The cabins seem to have a bit more privacy.

We also stayed in the Casa which was very nice but is the most expensive option.

We totally loved La Posada. It was our favorite part about our stay in CR.
