Marriott Plaza....the First Five Star Hotel built in Buenos Aires! The owners intended this hotel serve as a headquarters for courting wealthy European investors. Each room is unique...some are splendid and overlook Plaza San Martin and others small with interior views.
The Plaza Grill is a great place to dine for a good steak and the Plaza Bar was voted as one of the 10 best hotel bars in the world by Forbes magazine.
The hotel does have its quirks, owing to its age....but it also has a rich sense of history....with beautiful moldings and stone and original floor to ceiling windows in some rooms....
