6.1 earthquake in Costa Rica tonight - all seems okay

At 9:26 p.m. local time, about an hour and 40 minutes ago. As with the quake a couple of weeks ago, it was magnitude 6.1 and centered near Quepos. No reports of damage or injuries. At the time, I just noticed my laptop started moving across my desk.

Glad to hear it wasn't to bad. On Roatan, we just had the one year anniversary of one that was a little stronger, no serious damage or injury on Roatan either.

Where area are you in Jeff? A friend in Dominical certainly felt it. Crazy flooding going on too I hear.

The whole world is getting insane weather.
Manuel Antonio had a run in with tornado's last week.
Up at my place on lake Arenal it's hit 85 degrees a few times recently. It should be in the low seventies.
Maybe it's time to plan a 12212012 party?

LOL--I keep telling DH no need to Christmas shop early in 2012. I'm waiting until the last minute. :)

Hey, no! I want to make it to my 50s at least -- I heard that's when you really start enjoying life...
