Get rid of that banner!!!

I do not ski. I have no interest in skiing. I wouldn't go on a ski vacation if you handed me the tickets and begged me to use them.

Now, will you PLEASE stop showing me the SAME wretched ad for something I DO NOT WANT every time I change screens? It's OK the first time, but when I click on "Close" it should STAY CLOSED. (And it certainly shouldn't migrate to the middle of my screen.)

Thankfully the ad blocker on my desktop keeps it off that screen, but greedy Apple won't let me load one on my iPad.

I inadvertently clicked on the banner and went straight to a fake Lloyds TSB Bank page ( one of the largest banks in the UK). Why are Fodors allowing this type of advertising.

The Ski Ad should only be showing once a day. If you click close, you should not see if again if the once a day view isn't working.

Crellston, which ad are you referring to that takes you to a fake Lloyds page? I'll alert the ad team to have it removed.

I get the banner for Click Magnetic Readers. Every single day. The truly annoying fact is that I did purchase some of those glasses about 6 months ago. Big mistake. The glasses didn't fit, wouldn't stretch around my head, and as I was packaging tbem up for return they broke. Every day when I open Fodors and see Click's ad I am reminded of the $35 that I lost on that deal. If you could help me get rid of their ad I would be eternally grateful.
