The photo above looks huge. How do I make it smaller?
Thanks!

That hockney banner. Do they really have to put it right on the Accademia bridge? It will mar all the photos of the Grand Canal that people are taking from the water

Ib_hill, thanks to you,too!
Ibobi, I quite liked that Hockney banner which to me was a symbol of Venice’s spirit of reinvention.

I've realized that the Venice photos posted previously were, in fact, cropped both at the top and bottom. It wasn't immediately obviously to me due to the subject matter. Now, however, I'd like to post the photo from Ravenna seen below and it's making a big difference, no alabaster windows at the top nor people down below. Any ideas as to the fix? Thank you!

Looking at two of the three Venice photos (Grand Canal, small canal) in my trip report and the one above from Ravenna, I’m wondering if they were displayed in landscape rather than the portrait view in which they were taken. Could this be the issue? Interestingly, the photo of San Marco appears to have been displayed in portrait view.

I'm not sure size is the issue but rather orientation. Here is the photo rotated 90 degrees, which shows the entire image, and then in portrait as it was taken.
