We have about $800 in AA trip credits that are expiring in July. We are currently in Bordeaux on a long stay visa. I want to use the credits for European flights.

1.). When I go to AA I am unable to see any flights that originate in Europe. What am I doing wrong?

2.) as they are expiring soon, if I book a flight and then find I am unable to use them, will AA issue new trip credits with a new expiration date?

it feels like forever since I booked anything complicated on AA - but I can’t make any flights come up that originate in BOD. Both BA and Iberia have flights here.
