Zurich to USA via CDG - question or two about the airport!

Returning from trip to Zurich back to USA and have a couple questions. Delta has changed our flights. We depart Zurich near the end of this month. We are traveling business class and have all the following - e.g. Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, Priority. We leave ZRH on an AF flight to CDG - with a short period of time between terminals/flights - continuing on long flight to SLC. No checked bags. As you know Switzerland is not EU.

Departing Zurich - do we just go through security and with the routine passport check?
Changing planes (and terminals) at CDG - arriving 2F - do we have to go outside and then go through security again? Departing probably from 2E Gates M or K. What is the fastest way to get from 2F to 2E (Gates M or K). Do we go through a Passport check again? No French customs/immigration checks - right?

With airline industry in turmoil, we are prepared, if necessary, to spend the night in Paris (could be worse).

Thanks!

Switzerland is Schengen however.
So you will go through as a an internal passenger to CDG where you will exit Schengen through French Immigration.

To get to your departure gate, be sure to check the first display you find to determine the gate and departure terminal for your connecting flight. Then rigorously follow the signs to that precise terminal (do not go out through baggage claim). It is an internal transfer moving form the Schengen area to the non-Schengen area, and there won't be any shortcuts. The only thing to do is follow the signs that direct you to your departure terminal. On the way you will pass through immigration/passport control. It might involve a bus, but, again, just follow the signs to the terminal denoted on the first display you encounter listing your departure gate.

Google "CDG getting from 2F to 2E", you will find a webpage from easycdg.com listing specific directions from 2F to each of the 2E-Gates K, 2E-Gates L, or 2E-Gates M.
