Zurich accomodation

Hello, Can anyone suggest a ,reasonably priced hotel, B & B or anything for 2 adults during June. Will consider anything out of central Zurich in a suburb as long as it has transport available to train station. Didn't realize how expensive Zurich is, we are budget travellers, even the hostels are quite expensiv e.
Thanks

Hotel Alexander and its Guesthouse, or Hotel St. Josef.
Or, stay 30 minutes (by train) south of Zurich in lovely Rapperswil at St. Jakob Hotel.
Wonderful train connections to/through Zurich Hauptbahnhof, some go straight to Airport, others, you must change trains at Hbf.

The Marriott within sight of the main rail station often comes up on Priceline.

Have you looked at the www.rooms.ch site?

Priceline is the way to go in Zurich. We got the Renaissance (Glattburg) for $80 on three trips to Zurich. A tram near the hotel will get you into the city center in fifteen minutes. Tram on opposite side of street gets to airport in five minutes. The hotel is a business type place but ****, has nice rooms, quiet, and has a pool.
