Zoomarine, Pomezia, Italy

Do you plan on using the Roma Pass? I think it would have directions on the Roma Pass map. I'm at work so can't look at my Roma Pass map right now. Beside the included sites, it lists the bus 3#'s, metro lines/stops and trains to get to each one.

Dear Kybourbon
I do not understand what do you mean by Roma Pass. I have Roma Metro/Bus Card and I have looked at the Roma Metro Map also but unable to find out how to go to Zoomarine in Pomezia.

The Roma Pass (23€) gives you free admission to your first two museums/sites(Colosseum, etc.) and discounts at others (including 20% Zoomarine - weekdays and 10% weekends) for 3 days. It also gives you 3 days of transportation. The map they give you when you purchase the pass lists the travel info to reach the included sites.

It looks like you can take the train from Rome Termini to Pomezia. Travel time is 18 minutes and cost is 1.9€. For train info:
http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/inde...0080a3e90aRCRD
From Pomezia's website:
IN TRENO
STAZIONE FS POMEZIA S.PALOMBA ( 7 KM. DAL CENTRO)
This option is metro and bus.
ROMA STAZIONE FS TERMINI + METRO EUR LAURENTINA + CO.TRA.L.
Zoomarine's website isn't much help (although it does mention a free shuttle). Ask at the tourist office in Rome because it might not be close to the train station and require other transport once you get to Pomezia. The tourist office should have some brochures.

Hi Motu/Ky - The Zoomarine website lists a shuttle-bus service twice daily (- 09.25 and 11.25) from Pomezia (S. Palomba) railway station.
These provide a connecting service meeting passengers arriving in Pomezia from Roma Termini.
[Deps from Roma Termini are at 09.07 and 11.07 respectively].
For full details see:

Hope this helps ..

Thanks Steve! I'm on a laptop and I guess I didn't scroll down enough to see the links across the bottom on the Zoo Marine webpage. For anyone that happens to search Zoo Marine later on, here's the link to the discount if you have a Roma Pass.
