Can somebody share any comments about
zaragoza hotels, 3 o 4 stars ?
Planning a visit in May.
Restaurant and bar recomendations also useful.

Thank you!

Sorry it's been so long since I lived in Zaragoza; I no longer am familiar with the hotels. The main thing is to go to El Tubo (the tube) for the great snacks in the tapa bars. You will be glad you did. Also, be sure to try Chuletas (lamb chops) and Ensalada Illustrada in one of the many good, small restaurants.
Salud!

Hola olga,
On our last visit we stayed at the Zenir Don Yo with 1 Bancotel coupon. We found it to be a perfectly acceptable but totally unmemorable 4 star hotel-no
great charm or character to speak of but everthing worked, so just fine(and very cheap!)for an overnight. But on a return trip, I'll stay at the NH Ciudad de Zaragoza, next to the Basilica. Rates are 103 euros mid week or 82 on a wkd or call far ahead to snag the promo wkd rate of 69. And it also accepts Bancotel coupons. We also liked very much the NH Gran Hotel, the classic, Grande Dame of the city inaugurated by Alfonso XIII, but wkd. rates there run 94 euros, I think. We're fans of the hip, well-run, with lots of amenities NH chain.
