"Zahara" restaurant/Internet cafe in Madrid?
 

I found this reference in a DK guide:

Unfortunately, they don't list an address for them and I can't find them in Google.

BTW, I've bought a bunch of DK Eyewitness guides. Looks like that dk.com site has pretty good info.

Zahara is on Gran Via 31 :)

Actually, after I posted, I searched yellowpage.es and it found a Zahara 59 at Gran Via 59.

Too much of a coincidence to have similarly named establishments on the same street?

I believe they are now like a chain..the one I told you is the first one so I suppose they named the other with the number just to clarify :)
Last time I was there was some years ago and they still have not the internet cafe..but it's one of the cafes that exist in Madrid which has been running a lot of years.

If I recall correctly, Gran Via 31 and Gran Via 59 would be a significant distance apart, maybe a half-mile.

Yes, WillTravel, the 31 is more or less a block before Callao (coming from Cibeles) and the 59 is a couple of blocks after, nearer to Plaza España.

Well I'll check it out and report back in a couple of weeks.

My apartment is suppose to have Wifi Internet, at least the listing said so.

But the owner would not confirm (wanted to make sure because I'd booked it months ago).
