Yvoire, France vs. Stein Am Rhein, Switzerland
Has anyone been to both towns? Simply put, if you only have time to visit one, which is the better choice? (We know both are wonderful.). Thanks for any help.

Yvoire is a small old looking village with many restaurants (and not much else) on the shore of Lake Geneva. Many daily boats from Geneva to Yvoire and 2 daily boats from Yvoire to Lausanne. Closest airport: GVA
Stein am Rhein is a small town along the Rhine river with a historic centre and a castle. Many restaurants along the Rhine. Tons of trains to Schaffhausen (Rhine Falls), Constance, Zurich airport and Zurich. Boats plying the Rhine river between Schaffhausen and Constance (with connecting Lake Constance boats to Mainau Island, Unteruhldingen Lake dwellings, Friedrichshafen, Lindau and Bregenz (Austria).
