Youth Admissions to Museums and Museum Pass

My niece, age 15, and my sis will be visiting Paris together. Do you know what kind of ID is required to prove that you are a student when entering a museum?

My sis will buy a Museum Pass. Will niece be able to enter the Museum Pass entrance with sis or will she have to stand in line? Thanks for your help.

The free admission is for those under 18. It doesn't matter whether she is a student.

As far as I know she can enter with her sister.

Thank you for the info. But someone out there must have been in the same situation?

Your niece will be able to enter with your sister when she bypasses the lines with her Museum Pass.

I was just in Paris with my daughter and it was not a problem at all.

THank you.

Just thought you would like to know that sister and niece are back and had a lovely time. Niece was able to accompany my sister to the front of the line with sister's museum pass so no problems there.

I just came back from a trip to Paris with my 16 year old daughter. She had no problem entering any of the included museums or monuments with me(I had a pass) except for the Arc de Triomphe where we had to line up at the ticket booth to get her free ticket to accompany me on a climb to the top. I thought it was incredibly silly but come to think of it, that was the only mildly annoying incident in a truly wonderful week in Paris.
