Reading this with interest.
I too am thinking of a trip, maybe 7-10 days in this area in summer. I was going to base myself in Perugia and take the train and bus to different places. Does anyone have other thoughts on places to go to?
And where to stay? I wouldn't mind an apartment but can't seem to find anything in the right location (centre) and at the right price (inexpensive).
