I always love to browse in the Avoca shop in Dublin. I’ve purchased adorable children’s clothes (a striped tshirt with MENACE on the front), clothing and accessories for myself, delicious prepared foods and interesting sundries. I’m beyond the point in my life when I recreationally shop, but I’m happy to see the offerings whenever I’m in town.

OO told me it was of her favorite shop. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fod...c6779cf04f.jpg Two doors down from my favorite bistro, on my favorite square in the 6th https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fod...f9379d4ac0.jpg One Easter the shop was closed. To my surprise, the gift shop in Sainte-Chapelle carried several items. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fod...356d2d60a2.jpg A tiny shop but beautiful. I bring home a pillow cover from every visit. https://www.jules-pansu.com/en/ |
At the height of popularity of Project Runway, I took my kids to Eclaireur to admire the haute couture. It's on the same block as Musee Carnavalet. Quite the experience. Those are small video screens embedded into the walls.

I must demand a stop to all this!
I am trying to declutter!!!!!! I am so boring that I'd say that my faves are ZARA and COS in Spain. That antique shop posted by Besalu (if it really in that town, I am on my way) might make me buy a ticket RIGHT NOW!! I have enough trouble with yard sales where I live in the summer in Orient, NY) After I just had to junk my nice sofa at the town dump!!!! |
