Your favorite Bed & Breakfast in Harleem, Lisse or Leiden...
I hope it is not too late to book for mid April in the Netherlands. There will be 3 of us traveling and we have a vehicle. Which city would be the best base to tour for 3 nights and see the tulips? Need your Bed & Breakfast suggestions too.

Please some feedback.... Thank you.

I think most people stay in Amsterdam I'm afraid.
Did Palenque ever post the B&B where he stayed in Haarlem? He was going to post it in your earlier thread. Otherwise I suggest you get in touch with the VVV for the area and ask for their help. I posted a link in your other thread. You need to make up your mind soon as things will start to get booked up soon. |
Yes Palenque did post the B&B however there were cats there. I have been using your website VVV. I favor personal recommendations whenever possible. Guess I'll have to book just from the website. I have also been waiting to try and figure out what my daughter's university schedule will be as she will be coming for this short jaunt. Thanks for responding.

No the cats were at another B&B -i know because i saw only a rather active dog there and i am extremely allergic to cats - someone else posted one with cats - the one i stayed at, right in the town center a stone's throw from the pedestrian shopping zone was Bot B&B -run by a sister and brother with last name Bot. I have stayed in many B&Bs and would rate this one with the best. But i did not see any en-suite rooms (toilet/shower in room) and this puts off many Americans - but there were three WCs for i think 5 rooms - Hanna Bot was a really nice lady. i paid 32 euros with unlimited breakfast.

Not a B&B but we had a very nice stay and great rate at the Best Western in Haarlem.
