Your Favorite Beaune Restaurant ?

Hello,
What are your favorite Beaune restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner?
Looking for local, regional specialties, and not super-fancy.
Coq au vin and beef bourg. would be welcome "plats."
(We'll be there on a Monday & Tuesday, so hopefully some favorites will be open!)

Thank you.
MJ

We absolutely loved our dinner at Le Bacchus in Beaune. How much? I actually wrote an extra report on just the restaurant. Still gets rave reviews. Below is story with photos. Our b&b in Beaune was in our top three of all time.

Bonjour MJ,
Bistro Bourguignon on the main drag was apparently the very first wine bar to open in Beaune and it is still operated by the original owner couple. My wife and I have drunk wine in many places across the globe, and for us, this bistro takes absolute top prize for selection by the glass. The food was VG and reasonably-priced. The relaxed, non-stuffy vibe held great appeal for us.
The uncheap offerings by the glass included: Pommard, Gevrey-Chambertin,plus the whites: Montrachet and also our fave, Meursault. Each were by top producers and tasted fantastic! Worth every penny.
The night that we ate there, our neighbouring diners included some female European business folks who claimed that the bistro was their must-do on each visit to the area.
You won't regret it.
Bon Chance.
I am done. The end.

We enjoyed our dinner at 21 Boulevard a couple years ago. They have a Burgundy menu (which we didn’t have) that might fit what you’re looking for.

Also had a nice lunch at the Caves Madeleines - not really traditional food but definitely local/regional. Small casual place, although it looks fancy on the website.

Enjoy your trip!
