What is going on with the Asian characters. Don't these spammers at least realize this site is for travelers who are not fluent in whatever language it is (Chinese, Korean, ....)?

Here is a potential interview between fodors management and IT guy.
- mgt : hey it is costing a lot to remove these spams.
- IT : yes. But we are unable to filter them.
- mgt : find a way.
Then.
- mgt : does it work ?
- iT : no. But since you removed the mods during half a day we are saving money.
- mgt : great - so what is your problem noW ?
- IT : the half day full of spams is European hours so these guys are not happy
- mgt : Europeans ? Who cares ?
- IT : yes you are right.

It was gorgeous here today, too, WoinParis, not quite 20C but close, and the rain having driven out all the pollution, as if there was any. A thoroughly stunning day, and with no obligation to tell people how to get from CDG to downtown Paris, a freeing moment. I just pull down the country I am interested in and don't look at the side bar. The spammers get paid for posting and fodors gets more hits for advertising. I think we are third on the list so sol.
