Yet another airport shuttle question...

Greetings everyone. I have read several responses re this subject but have this question. We (2 couples)are arriving to CDG airport and are unsure whether a taxi or airport shuttle is the least expensive way to get to hotel for 4 persons. (No RER or bus) Can anyone assist please. Thank you.

Hi T,

Cab about 60E.

Shuttle about 18E pp.

Shuttle price is fixed.

Cab is on the meter. What time do you arrive?

Can 4 people and their luggage fit in a Parisian taxi?

don't taxis also charge extra for bags or is Ira figuring that in, if it's so

Hi PQ,

There are often larger cabs at the airports and train stations - some the size of a shuttle van.

Hmmm. Seems like the shuttle may be the way to go given the potential rush hour issues. Thank you all for your assistance.

If you just head for the taxi queue and stick together with your bags, the drivers are very efficient at matching vehicles to groups.

There is an extra person charge of €2.75 from the fourth person, and €1 for each bag after the first weighing over 5kg.
