Yarn shops Rome, Florence
Does anyone have a favorite yarn shop in Rome and / or Florence they would like to recommend? A shop that sells hand spun / dyed would be especially nice. Thank you!

We were in Rome in April and my Mom and Aunt found a knitting store. We stopped by there a few times in the week that we were there. I don't know if they had hand spun or dyed yarn or the name but it was along the Via die Baullari at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. It was a couple of store fronts away from Il Fornaio (I think that was the name of the store, there was a great big Mortadella on display daily that they would slice for people and then make sandwiches from it inside)

Thank you, jscarbary, I'll find it! "...a great big Mortadella..." yum! :-)

jscarbary, thanks to you, and that mortadella, I found the yarn shop. For such a small shop, they pack a lot in!

I missed this thread the first time around. There is a small yarn shop on tiny Vicolo della Torretta between Via del Leone and Via della Torretta. This is near/between Largo Fontanella Borghese and Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.
