Y'all got Uber?
Is ride sharing (Uber, Lyft) as prevalent in Europe as it is in US? I used a company called blah blah car in France last year? Is there one for Germany? Trying to get from Fussen to Kempten and would rather take a quick car ride if possible.

it is in some cities - not in others.
But public transport and taxis are so prevalent/easy/reasonably priced in most places I really haven't seen the need for it. |
Yes, there is BlaBlaCar in Germany:
https://www.blablacar.de Also numerous other ride-sharing organisations, too many to mention here (google "Mitfahrzentrale" or "Mitfahrgelegenheit"). There is Uber in some of the bigger cities (Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf). I would look also into the cost of an advance purchase train ticket as there are very good discounts if you buy up to 3 months in advance. Lavandula |
When I used my uber app in Berlin a regular taxi showed up.

Thanks!
