Xmas - New Year in Rome: where can I still find apartments for rent?
Hi there,
I have already booked my accommodation to stay in Rome for Xmas and New Year. My sister's family wants to come along, yet Rome is booked up entirely.
Any suggestions on where I could still find an accommodation (also apartments) at this late stage?
With thanks,
Julian

You can find apartments still available at Roman Homes, their site is:
www.romanhomes.com
We already rented with them 3 times, and they provide excellent properties and service. Luckily, they still had something available with short notice.
Their site is also remarkable, with countless photos and many articles, by far the best on Rome.
Hope this helps you.
Brent.

Hi Julian,
I have the same problem. Someone said that one should also contact the EPT (should be the Italian Tourist Board) for last minute rentals, but I don't know how to do that.
I've checked and contacted the site Brent mentioned, www.romanhomes.com
They still have some units available, and they are very helpful.
Have you found anything so far (apart from Roman Homes?).

I recommend you an agency in Rome, Italy
which rents out apartments for periods of seven days and more. I was thoroughly impressed with their
professionalism, efficiency, and helpfulness. I was fortunate to have a small apartment for three weeks in the heart of Rome. The location was tremendous. Walking distance to all the
major sights as well as many off the track treasures.
The apartment was clean, quiet and fully furnished.
The price was also good, much better than a hotel, with much more to offer. The apartment made for a much more
relaxed and independent trip.
The agency is called DOMUS. They have a website at www.domusintl.

I'd read this article before I rented from Romanhomes.com. (http://slate.msn.com/ISeeFrance/entr...2-25_75791.asp)
