www.iberia.com

Anyone:

I have been searching fares by way of www.iberia.com for Iberia airlines and the fare prices are extrordinarily low, not only compared with other airlines, but with the fares that the major search engines show for the same flights on Iberia. There is a small note that airport taxes might be collected at
the local airport. does that mean the fares shown are not all-inclusive?

Does anyone have experience with this site and if so, should I be wary of the fares they show? Please- I would appreciate only responses from those who have used this site or are familiar with Iberia Airlines. General commments such as "I would be careful if I were you . . . [or] not sure about this site but on others I've used . . .," however well-meaning, will not be useful. with all due respect, I would prefer answers specific to this site.
Thanks very much for the cooperation.

Gee, I fly to Madrid fairly often and have used the Iberia site a few times and have NEVER had taxes collected from me at the airport! I would purchase tickets again without hesitation. Hope that's useful.

Michelle:

With apologies if I sound too dense-
So you're saying, when it shows the fare in U.S. dollars, after you have searched departure and returning flights for your cities, and you go through the process to purchase, that's the fare you have paid (with no extras)?

Ok... Zola, I just priced a ticket to Madrid on Iberia.com. It priced out to $750 plus 60.87 tax. That's your cost -- you pay and get your eticket. Hope that's clear.

Michelle:

You are very kind to be both detailed and prompt in your replies. I am grateful for the response. I'll look for your posts in the future. Thanks!
