I know Gemut.com is a favorite on this board for booking a rental car in Europe.

Has anyone used them to purchase airline tickets? I'm now in the process of searching for low airfare from IAD to FRA (if it exists .. .right now I'm looking at close to $1200 per person). The problem I am running into is that my husband will fly in to and out of FRA whereas I will be flying into FRA and out of CDG. I have never done a booking like this on-line with Orbitz .. etc... so I've been thinking of working with Bob/Andy bestor at Gemut.

Or my other option is to call the airline direct.

We are looking for airfare for 7/28 to 8/11 for my husband and I will be traveling 7/28 to 8/19 (my sister is flying over on FF miles on 8/11).

Track fares at www.kayak.com and www.mobissimo.com.

Kayak is currently offering RT for $1012 out of BWI via Iceland.

Mobissimo has non-stop RT out of IAD for $1036.

Kayak has BWI/FRA|CDG/BWI for $1001.

You might see prices drop about $100 between now and mid Feb (or they might go up).

You might want to check out fares using www.itasoftware.com and www.onetravel.com

As I recall, www.mobissimo.com does not allow you to look at open jaw itineraries unless that has changed.
