Wow, in light of today's sad events in London, did anyone see this post from last year?

Travelinwifey I have experience the same feelings. I was in London a little over a month after 9/11 and could not help but think of a potential attack to London. I thought a lot about that then, specially while riding down the lift to the tube at Russell Square Station (it is sooooooo deep down, you do need a lift!). I have been back to London several times since (was there in May and just last month), and everytime I went to Russell Square Station I got the same eerie feeling...

Admittedly I am a small town person, but I every time I am in a metro in Rome, London, Paris, etc., it crosses my mind that being there in the type of situation that happened today would be horrific. I think maybe I border on being a little claustrophic anyway. Like many of the rest of you, though, I will not stop traveling. Such a sad, sad day. PJK
