Would you visit Ischia off season?

Thinking of possible daytrips from Naples I've already been to Capri and Pompeii twice. I notice most of the hotels on Ischia seem to shut by late Oct. I guess it will be quiet, but will it be deserted in November? Good place to spend a few hours if the weather is nice?

You are correct that most of the hotels close at the end of October. E-mail some of the bigger hotels and ask what it's like in some of the bigger towns. I haven't been there in November in many years. We go visit in the spring or early fall. My family is in a small town and they close down. They open up around Christmas and then close down again until April.
