Well, I did look into Paris, Spain and Rome--the flights we really expensive, and London came up w/the best prices for air/hotel.
We'll get to the other places someday soon. We'll just get London over with and move on to other countries.
I also want to say THANK YOU all for the nice thoughtful messages and suggestions--everyone on here is so nice, even the guy that corrected my spelling on stoneheNge. I am researching ALL of the websites I was given and have been printing alot of information. I really enjoy this message board! Cheers!

Well, insayshbl, you are more than gracious. When in March are you going? I'll be in London/Cardiff March 9-18, so maybe we can all cross fingers for good weather!

Here's the link to the Borough Market site:

and the hours:
Thursdays: 11am to 5pm
Fridays: 12pm to 6pm
Saturdays 9am - 4pm

The market was rather a madhouse when we went on a Saturday morning (I got mauled by someone's shopping cart thing), but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We bought our breakfast there, and the fixings for our lunch, and walked along the South Bank. On a pretty day, it's a fun walk.
